Welcome, My Dear Aspiring Writers!

Hi, AB Com. I-A English 2 Class! Welcome, welcome, welcome to our class blog!!

Welcome to The Writer's Closet Blog! Are you excited? :)

We will use this blog for many purposes in this class.

Our primary purpose will be TO INSPIRE and TO BE INSPIRED. TO INSPIRE ourselves and others to WRITE to our heart's content and TO BE INSPIRED by each other's write-ups.

Our secondary purpose will be to learn more about weblogs and what they are used for. We will also use them to post exciting assignments, do some interesting journal entries or simply have class discussions.

My goal is to post lessons and tasks for you to write. I will post the lessons and tasks from time to time and you will have to do your given tasks on given deadlines. Some posts will be required to be finished in class and some posts will be required to be written at your convenient time but with deadlines to beat as assignments.

Before we begin blogging, there are a few ground rules to be set. 1. We will use the English language for all our posts--- completed in paragraph form. When we post, we should be using complete sentences with proper grammar and spelling. No shortcuts and abbreviations are allowed like U, R, UR, i, CUZ, NYT, TBH, IDK, IDC, WER, etc. 2. When posting a comment, you may agree or disagree with another student's comment. However, you must state why you feel that way and must do it in a manner that is polite and non-judgmental. Remember, we are here TO INSPIRE and TO BE INSPIRED. The comments need to be non-personal and refrain from sarcasm and put downs. 3. You must comment on every article because it is a writing requirement. 4. You must address the topics and questions posted on the blog. You cannot simply write "I agree" or "I like".

Thank you very much for your time.

Enjoy WRITING! :)
